Tilak Devasher, Member, National Security Advisory Board, speaks to Firstpost’s Managing Editor Palki Sharma, after India-Pakistan ceasefire was announced. US President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Social that India and Pakistan have agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire”.
Devasher said: “Surprised. I don’t think anybody was expecting this. The fact that it (ceasefire) was announced by US President Donald Trump, that itself was also surprising. But why did the ceasefire took place today, I don’t think we have enough details.”
