Dr Kate is a registered Clinical Psychologist and expert in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, with over 17 years of experience helping adults overcome challenges in mood, mindset and relationships. Her work is grounded in science, delivered with compassion, and shaped by a belief that psychological insight can empower real change, including in your dating life.

This isn’t about toxic positivity or pretending dating is easy. It’s about giving you the tools to shift your mindset, grow your confidence, and show up for your own love life, awkwardness, courage and all.

An expert in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with over 17 years of experience helping adults navigate challenges in mood, mindset, and relationships.

Throughout her career, she’s worked with hundreds of clients to understand the limiting beliefs and behaviours holding them back from living the life they want. She has developed and delivered evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs, grounded in science and shaped by compassion.

Kate is also a highly experienced educator. She has trained over 300 professionals to deliver psychological therapies and became one of the youngest ever Course Directors of Postgraduate CBT programmes at the University of Reading. Her teaching is known for being engaging, practical, and deeply thoughtful. She’s passionate about helping learners connect theory with lived experience and apply it meaningfully to their lives and work.

And while her professional life was thriving… her love life took a different route. Kate often jokes that she earned an unofficial PhD in ridiculous relationships. Across countless chats with friends, deep dives into psychology and attachment theory, and lots of trial-and-error, she found a new way to date. One rooted in intention, insight, and self-worth. She learned how to stop repeating old patterns and start choosing connection over chaos.

Now, she brings that same blend of psychological depth, lived experience, and practical wisdom to help women date differently. Kate loves nothing more than honest conversations about love, relationships, and how to move from confusion and burnout to clarity and empowered choice.
