Flower Essence Formula for Healing Grief

I call the formula “Healing a Broken Heart” which might indicate mourning a death or a relationship break-up. But it’s for any heart that grieves for any reason!

There are a lot of reasons to be in grief today. I’m not going to get into it—read the news. I was feeling deeply discouraged for half the day and finally thought I should turn to a flower essence to address that. But when I did—as often happens—up popped grief. Grief is more than discouragement. It’s a heart crying out in pain. I wasn’t surprised. Whenever I’m angry, fearful, or discouraged these days I find grief underneath. Grief is about loss of all sorts. It doesn’t just feel like a minor setback. You’ve either lost something that you’ll never regain again or in the moment, at least, it feels that way.

My Healing a Broken Heart Formula was just what I needed. I thought it would help me cry and release the tears I had inside. (It often does do that for some people.) But not today. About 10 minutes after I used it, my depression lifted and I no longer felt hopeless and discouraged. And I can’t explain why! Nothing external had changed . . . although I note that people on both sides of the political aisle are speaking out. But I hadn’t seen that. I just felt happier! Not happier about all the things that have happened in the last 24 hours, but no longer flattened. And the only word I have to describe that is “happy.”

This formula contains Star of Bethlehem for soothing shock, trauma or grief; Walnut for acceptance of the need for change and the ability to let go of how things used to be; and Bleeding Heart for healing heartbreak and letting go of emotional attachments.

Find Reiki infused dosage strength dropper bottles and unscented sprays of Healing a Broken Heart in my Etsy shop. I also have a wonderfully scented spray version. And a scented oil.

Flower essences are used to assist with mind-body-spirit interactions and individual results may vary. They are extremely dilute which makes them quite safe. But because so little physical substance can be detected in a flower essence solution, these products are presumed to work on an energetic or vibrational level—something that cannot be adequately tested by western scientific methods. Claims made by me, therefore, are based on personal experiences and the evidence of the combined multiple decades of case notes by Dr. Edward Bach as well as Healing Herbs and Flower Essence Services (the companies who make the ingredients I use in my products). This is not, however, accepted medical evidence or substantiated scientific evidence from a modern allopathic point of view. I am not a medical doctor or licensed healthcare practitioner.

Consulting with a health care provider is a must for anyone taking medications or working with a medical or mental health condition, and highly recommended before using any herbal product. Please consult your doctor or health care provider for any possible contraindications and/or interactions with current medications.
