Emma Kate Rose & Robert Peakin, Directors of Food Connect speak with Chris Barry from Communities@Work about their 14-year “experiment” in ‘Community Supported Agriculture’ – where city-eaters share the risk with farmers. They explain what “the Commons” are, how precious our food system is and how tenuous it can be, as well as Ecological Regenerative Farming, developing a Social Enterprise and advice on how to be a change agent in your community, and aid in community development.

The Power to the People Conference

In 2019, Communities@Work partnered with the Bank of I.D.E.A.S to deliver the popular and successful ‘Power to the People’ conference in Canberra, which brought together speakers and attendees from around Australia and internationally, all passionate about building citizen-driven communities with an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach.
