Kelly Stafford spared no detail when discussing a recent mishap while trying to take her grooming routine into her own hands — literally.
“I’m going to tell you guys something,” Stafford, 36, said during the Thursday, June 26, episode of her “The Morning After” podcast. “Three weeks ago now maybe, I tried to wax my own vagina.”
She added, “I’ve had it waxed before. Back before kids and when I had time. It’s so nice. It’s the best. There’s nothing better than a waxed vajayjay.”

Given her hectic home life, Kelly said, “I thought I could do it on my own.”
“Honestly, it was miserable,” she admitted. “I’ve never been in so much pain.”
Kelly said she attempted the waxing “dead sober,” joking she “probably should have taken an edible.”
“It was hard,” she said. “It was the worst choice I’ve made in a really long time.”
Kelly explained she was attempting to give herself a “full Brazilian” waxing, but “didn’t get there.”
“Let’s just say I got, like, the front,” she said. “I got a few strips and I was like, ‘Alright.’ … I sat there for 20 minutes with one strip left going, ’3, 2, 1,’ and not doing it. I couldn’t do it. I was like, ‘There’s got to be another way to get this off.’”
While Kelly was attempting her wax job, she explained Matthew, 37, was downstairs — but not far from his wife’s mind.
“An Amazon [waxing] kit is, like, 20 bucks,” she noted. “You can do it yourself instead of driving somewhere else, paying fifty dollars for a wax. I was saving us money!”
In May, Matthew finalized a restructured contract with the Rams that will see him earn $44 million next season.
As for why Kelly did just opt for laser treatment, she offered a candid explanation.
“Because I’m blonde, not that everybody needs to know that,” Kelly offered.

Ultimately, Kelly learned a valuable lesson at the end of her home waxing adventure.
“I get why people have bushes,” she said bluntly. “I get it.”
While Kelly is a typically open book on the episode, she noted that she wasn’t eager for everybody to hear about her grooming confessions.
“Sooo for this one let’s just say I had to call my dad and tell him not to listen this week,” Kelly posted via her Instagram Story on Thursday.
