Port Canaveral will host their annual “Smoke on the Water & Fire in the Sky” fireworks celebration on July 3, 2025.
Free parking for the event will be available at The Cove at Port Canaveral for patrons of The Cove restaurants until the lot is full.
Port Canaveral will have designated parking lots for $15 per car and you will be able to pay with cash and credit cards. A map showing these parking lots can be seen in the image above.
There will be no public viewing of the fireworks on the north side of the port (“A Cruise Terminals and North Cargo Operations) nor on any part of State Road 401.
Port Canaveral worked with the Brevard Country Sheriff’s Office to create a traffic flow plan. The plan includes road closures in The Cove Restaurant District and utilizes one-way directional exiting of Port roads following the event.
The port is asking everyone who plans to attend to review the parking lots and traffic flow maps before arriving.
If you plan on traveling on State Road 528, the port is asking you to use Lots C or D.
If you plan on driving to Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, beach communities, points south, State Road A1A or 520, use Lots A and B.
Brevard County Sherriff’s deputies, parking attendants and staff will be located at key traffic intersections around the Port to assist motorists.
