The refreshed Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees) arrived this year with multiple new credits to offset the annual fee hike to $795.

The Sapphire Reserve has historically been a favorite among frequent travelers, thanks in part to its broad annual travel credit and multiple insurance protections. Now, the card’s revamp has included more lifestyle perks.

Many of the Reserve’s newest statement credits are geared toward a cardholder’s everyday spending. In this guide, we’ll examine the credits and help you maximize them to get the most for your annual fee.

Chase Sapphire Reserve lifestyle credits

The Sapphire Reserve’s five lifestyle credits include popular services and total up to $1,090 in annual value.

Credit Annual value How it’s earned More details
DoorDash $300 Monthly $5 restaurant promo and two $10 promos on non-restaurant purchases each month Activate by Dec. 31, 2027
StubHub $300 Split into two biannual $150 statement credits; activation required Valid for StubHub or Viagogo purchases of concert and event tickets
Apple TV+ and Apple Music $250 One-time activation per service is required through chase.com or the Chase Mobile app; subscriptions run through June 22, 2027 Valid for Apple TV+ and Apple Music subscriptions
Lyft $120 Up to $10 in monthly credits through Sept. 30, 2027 In-app credits
Peloton $120 $10 monthly through Dec. 31, 2027 Statement credits toward a Peloton membership

Now, let’s break down each credit individually.

DoorDash

Value: $300, split into monthly credits of $5 for restaurants and two $10 non-restaurant credits

DoorDash is clutch for those nights you don’t want to cook or when you need some grocery items to finish up a recipe.

The Sapphire Reserve‘s monthly $5 DoorDash restaurant credit is offered as an in-app credit off all restaurant orders per calendar month. The two $10 promos on non-restaurant purchases apply to grocery, convenience or other non-restaurant orders.

DOORDASH

This statement credit isn’t new to the card, nor is the complimentary $120 DoorDash DashPass membership, which is valued at $120. You must also activate by Dec. 31, 2027, to receive both of these benefits.

While I don’t have the Sapphire Reserve, I do hold the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees), which also provides a DashPass membership (after activation by Dec. 31, 2027). Since I enrolled in November 2023, I’ve saved almost $150 in fees thanks to the complimentary subscription.

This credit is easy to maximize on the Sapphire Reserve if you remember to make three purchases on DoorDash per month — two non-restaurant purchases of at least $10 and one restaurant purchase of at least $5.

StubHub

Value: $300 annually, split into two $150 biannual credits

Concert-goers and live sports fanatics, this one’s for you. The two $150 biannual statement credits will counteract high ticket prices to special events twice a year (through Dec. 31, 2027; activation is required).

This credit is valid for StubHub or Viagogo purchases of concert and event tickets.

CAROLINE TANNER/THE POINTS GUY

This credit is new to the revamped Sapphire Reserve card and helps offset some of the $795 annual fee.

It’ll be simple for those who purchase event tickets at least twice a year (once between January and June and another time between July and December) to maximize this credit.

Existing cardholders will be able to use this credit on Oct. 26, regardless of whether the new higher annual fee has been posted to their account.

Apple TV+ and Apple Music

Value: $250 for both subscriptions

If you’re binging a show on Apple TV+ or using Apple Music as your streaming app, this new credit on the Sapphire Reserve will provide you with great value.

This credit is earned after one-time activation for each service through chase.com or the Chase Mobile app; subscriptions run through June 22, 2027.

This credit is excellent for music fans and TV enthusiasts, especially if they already use these services. Plus, since it requires one-time activation for each app, it’s easy to maximize.

Like the new StubHub credit, existing cardholders will receive access to these perks on Oct. 26.

Lyft

Value: $120 annually, split into $10 monthly credits

Like its DoorDash partnership, Chase is continuing its Lyft credits and bonus-earning rate on eligible Lyft rides.

Sapphire Reserve cardholders will receive $10 credits in the Lyft app each calendar month through Sept. 30, 2027. Plus, after the credit is used, you’ll earn 5 points per dollar on eligible Lyft rides.

Note that this credit does not apply to Wait & Save, bike or scooter rides on the Lyft app.

This credit is easy to use for those who use Lyft at least once a month, as it automatically loads into the app. You’ll have to remember to use it each month, however, since it won’t carry over from month to month.

Peloton

Value: $120 annually, split into $10 monthly credits toward a membership

Finally, fitness enthusiasts will have their Peloton membership covered with the Sapphire Reserve through Dec. 31, 2027, and they’ll receive bonus points on eligible Peloton equipment purchases too.

HILTON

Chase offered statement credits for Peloton memberships from October 2020 to June 2022, so this is a return for the refreshed Sapphire Reserve.

This credit won’t be difficult to use if you have a Peloton membership that automatically posts to your account each month.

Existing Sapphire Reserve cardholders will get access to this perk on Oct. 26.

The card continues to earn 10 points per dollar on all eligible Peloton equipment purchases (on purchases over $150, up to 50,000 total points), also through Dec. 31, 2027.

Bottom line

The Sapphire Reserve‘s $795 annual fee can be offset by these five credits alone, as they add up to more than $1,000 in value. If you already use these services, holding this card could be a fantastic value.

However, it’s important to consider whether or not you’ll be able to keep up with the credits, as it may require some extra organization to remember which are biannual, monthly or annual. Staying on top of your statement credits — and not letting any of them pass you by — will be key to getting the most out of them.
