Alibaba Cloud has announced plans to invest over USD $60 million to boost artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and increase support for its global partner ecosystem.
The investment will be spent across collaborative marketing campaigns, incentive rebate programmes, and capability-building initiatives aimed at businesses worldwide. Alibaba Cloud has stated that these efforts are intended to facilitate the adoption of cloud and AI solutions through partnerships with several technology companies.
Among the new strategic collaborations, Alibaba Cloud has expanded its partnerships with technology providers including Atos, Crayon, Dify, PingCAP, DXC Technology, Squirro, Bespin Global Indonesia, and Electrum Cloud.
Partner ecosystem
The goal of this investment, according to Alibaba Cloud, is to help partners increase their customer base, enhance technical expertise, and accelerate business adoption of advanced cloud and AI technologies. The company says such collaborative efforts will enable mutually beneficial growth between Alibaba Cloud and its partners.

Strategic partner collaborations
Alibaba Cloud’s investments are reflected in several new and expanded alliances. Dify, a provider of AI application development platforms, will bring its Dify Enterprise solution to the Alibaba Cloud Global Marketplace. This partnership aims to combine Dify’s orchestration and LLMOps capabilities with Alibaba Cloud’s infrastructure, intending to make the construction and deployment of large language model (LLM)-powered applications more accessible to enterprises.
In addition, Squirro is launching its Squirro Gen AI Platform on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace through a partnership targeting the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration seeks to deliver advanced AI decision intelligence, data analytics, and automation platforms to customers in sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, and retail.
PingCAP has entered a partnership to bring its distributed SQL database, TiDB, onto Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. The collaboration will offer serverless elasticity, vector search, and hybrid transactional/analytical processing (HTAP) capabilities, aiming to streamline the development and operation of AI applications with increased scalability and flexibility.
Expansion of existing partnerships was also announced with Atos, which has now become a Reseller Partner for Alibaba Cloud. Atos will offer Alibaba Cloud’s services, including cloud infrastructure and AI models, alongside its own cloud migration and digital transformation expertise to enterprise customers in international markets.
Crayon has also expanded its regional distribution abilities in Southeast Asia by appointing Crayon Singapore and Crayon Philippines as official resellers of Alibaba Cloud technologies. This development will provide managed service providers (MSPs) and independent software vendors (ISVs) with direct access to Alibaba services supported by Crayon’s cloud, security, and AI expertise.
Other notable alliances include DXC Technology, which will provide cloud solutions and AI services with Alibaba Cloud infrastructure to clients in Asian markets, and Bespin Global Indonesia, which has become an official Managed Service Provider partner in Indonesia focusing on secure and scalable AI-powered innovation.
Electrum Cloud, a member of the CloudMile Group, has formed a partnership to offer custom AI solutions and strategic advisory services in Indonesia, with a further focus on AI talent development and support for the developer community.

Currently, Alibaba Cloud works with around 12,000 partners globally. Other significant names on its partner list include Salesforce, Fortinet, IBM, and Neo4j.
