South Africa’s Black Economic Empowerment policies – through the lens of three prominent Afrikaners – came into sharp focus during a discussion hosted by a conservative think-tank in the United States Washington DC this week.
The Hudson Institute hosted the leader of the Freedom Front Plus Dr Corne Mulder, CEO of Southern African Agri Initiative Dr Theo de Jager and CEO of the National Employers Association Gerhard Papenfus for a discussion titled: An Afrikaner Perspective on US-South Africa relations.
The discussion delved into BEE, farm murders and Pretoria’s geo-political choices among others topics.
Sherwin Bryce-Pease reports that the issue of alleged genocide in South Africa didn’t come up at all.
