Cairns Indigenous Art Fair 2025

From 10–13 July, the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair returns to its original home, the Tanks Arts Centre, for what promises to be its boldest and most inspiring program yet.

Set among the stunning Botanic Gardens, this year’s CIAF features over 400 artists, performers and presenters across four days of powerful storytelling through art, fashion, music, dance, talks, and workshops.

New Artistic Director Teho Ropeyarn leads this year’s program under the theme Pay Attention! – a call to reflect, honour, and imagine a fairer future through bold creative expression.

“CIAF is a transformative cultural movement that is rooted in

truth, talent and tradition”
