Bachelor of Social Work is a four-year academic undergraduate program. This course is designed to provide knowledge of social services along with social sectors and solve problems to build a better relationship, overcoming family and societal problems, uplift livelihood and their environment, and qualify as social workers in emerging NGO s and INGOs sectors. In Nepal, academic institutions like Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, and Purbanchal University are running full-fledged Bachelor of Social Work programs at various constituent and affiliated Colleges both private and public. In the four years program courses are taught with classroom lectures, regular assignments, research projects and presentations, seminar papers and presentations, field works. The average cost of studying BSW in Nepal ranges from Rs 4 – Rs 6 lakhs depending on the College administration.
