In a wonderful celebration of partnership and fun, Carnival Cruise Line hosted an exclusive preview of its brand-new destination, Celebration Key, for the community and leaders of Grand Bahama. This exciting event offered a first glimpse into the incredible experiences that await guests, while highlighting the significant economic opportunities and deep community ties the project brings to the island.
The preview showcased the destination’s amazing features, including the iconic 10-story Suncastle, thrilling waterslides, and the largest freshwater lagoons in the Caribbean. Attendees explored the five distinct “portals,” from the serene, adults-only Pearl Cove Beach Club to the fun-filled Starfish Lagoon. With over 30 food and beverage venues and a retail village featuring local artisans, Celebration Key is a beautiful representation of Bahamian culture and Carnival’s signature fun.
Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, emphasized the strong partnership with the people of Grand Bahama, noting that this is the first major project on the island in over two decades.
