The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is going to release on a physical disc just in time for the spooky season, for one reason or another. There is, however a lingered question.
As shared by UK-based The Game Collection on social media (thanks, Xbox Nerds), Virtuos’ remaster of the classic Elder Scrolls entry has kicked off pre-orders ahead of its official street date of October 13. One big question, though, is how the game will operate, as in will it be all packaged on the disc or simply a code in a box. Unfortunately, not even the source of the release can answer that.
There are signs this will be just a code in a box situation, considering other Xbox releases like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and DOOM: The Dark Ages both contained a minimal amount of data on the disc itself. We don’t have too long to wait, though, as the physical edition launches on October 13.
