On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, sworn agents duly authorized by the Director General, Hans Jacques Ludwig Joseph, of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC), searched the offices of the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Civic Action (MJSAC).
This investigation is part of an ongoing inquiry, opened more than six months ago, following several reports of facts “likely to constitute acts of corruption or administrative mismanagement.”
Documents, digital media, and other evidence were seized for analysis and analysis. In addition to the on-site interviews, investigators, acting in their capacity as judicial police officers, sealed a safe containing one million two hundred and twenty-five thousand five hundred gourdes in cash, believed to be linked to the disbursement of fifty million gourdes for the celebration of Flag Day on May 18, 2025. It should be noted that these public funds and their use are, among other things, the subject of this investigation.
