One of CMLL’s top stars may be officially All Elite—at least, that’s what the word on the street says.

According to Luchablog, CMLL standout Hechicero has reportedly signed a deal with AEW, allowing him to work for both promotions under a dual agreement. The info first came from a Reddit user, but Luchablog chimed in to back the claim, noting that multiple sources have indicated the deal is legit, though not yet formally announced.

In a post shared on X/Twitter, Luchablog explained their position on the report:

“I believe this Reddit user is correct. Had couple sources tell me Hechicero was signing with AEW. Plan was for it be official around Grand Slam Mexico, got held up a bit, I prefer waiting to be certain to say anything. He will still work CMLL, dual deal.”

Hechicero already has a presence in AEW’s orbit. He worked the main event of this week’s ROH on HonorClub, defeating Angelico. He also appeared on this week’s AEW Dynamite alongside Josh Alexander in a tag team bout as a member of the Don Callis Family. The signing would solidify his role moving forward, especially with AEW and CMLL continuing to cross paths.

If this report holds up, it’s another major move in AEW’s ongoing expansion of international talent—and a win for fans who’ve been waiting to see Hechicero on a larger platform.

Do you think AEW is the right fit for Hechicero? And how should they use him going forward? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know how you’d book his first major feud.
