On the second point about initiating contextual conversation, I didn’t take my own advice, and accidentally left off the context that the “is that the special?” icebreaker would be perfect if you see a woman you want to initiate conversation with at a restaurant!!
Here are a few more contextual ideas:
🐕 She’s walking her dog? Tell her how cute he is, and ask how long she’s had him
☕ In line for coffee? Ask if she’s tried the matcha
👟 She’s wearing cool shoes? Tell her you like them, and ask about the rest of her collection
If you can’t find anything contextual to say or ask about, saying, “We made eye contact, and I wanted to introduce myself…” works as long as it’s true!
