In this video I explain in detail how to write a cover letter when applying for an electrician apprenticeship. I show you the cover letter that I wrote when I was applying for the Inside Electrician Apprenticeship program at IBEW Local 48. I explain why I chose to include certain things in mine and how doing the same can benefit you greatly.
This video is the first video in a new series/ playlist where I’ll explain how to write a cover letter, resume, and how to put together a portfolio. This playlist will be very specific to electricians, though the information may still be beneficial for anyone applying to any job.
As stated in this video, I’m sharing my cover letter in good faith that it will only be used by you as an example and that it won’t be actually copied. Everything in mine is specific to me, my experiences, and IBEW Local 48.
