Final Text of the Constitution…

Enex Jean-Charles, the Chairman of the Steering Committee, stated that the final text of the new Constitution will be submitted to the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) before the end of July, along with the report on the corrections made and all general recommendations.

19 U-15 players in Spain

19 young Haitian footballers under 15 from the Jacot Football Passion Academy participated in a training camp in Barcelona from July 14 to 18, 2025, following an invitation from the Spanish club C.E. Altafulla 1923. Accompanied by director Jacques Hans Vilfort, the young players benefited from professional coaching and modern infrastructure. At the end of the camp, the eight best talents could join a prestigious football school in Spain, according to the head of the academy, Jacques Hans Vilfort, who sees this initiative as a major opportunity for the development of Haitian football.

Montreal : CCHC Celebrates 3 Years

Acting Chargée d’affaires Marie Françoise Suzan participated in the third-anniversary celebration ceremony of the Haitian Chamber of Commerce of Canada (CCHC) in Montreal. This event, which brought together several prominent figures, allowed the CCHC to pay tribute to influential figures in the Haitian community. Ms. Suzan praised the remarkable work of the CCHC, which is a strong voice for Haitian entrepreneurship in the Canadian ecosystem.

Qatar 2025 : Intensive Preparation for the Grenadiers

The U-17 national team continues its preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2025. On Sunday, July 20, the training session began with static core work to strengthen the players’ posture and stability. A technical test of juggling in motion was then carried out: each player had to make two round trips of 20 meters alternating feet, with the ball controlled in the air. The session concluded with a 20-minute match, allowing the staff to assess the application of the instructions in a game situation. Mental Health : Training of a First Cohort

The Mental Health Unit of the Ministry of Public Health in the Northern Health Department (DSN) has trained a first cohort of doctors and nurses from 19 hospitals. Thirty doctors and nurses from private and public hospitals and health centers were trained in the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Mental Health Gap Action Program (MHGAP). This intensive five-day training allowed them to assimilate the essential concepts for early management of the most common conditions (mental, neurological, and substance use-related). This same training will be replicated in other departmental health departments.

Professional Identity Card

James Monazard, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, continues to work to modernize the Ministry’s Professional Identity Card (CIP) service. Anyone with a company or other entity registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry will soon be able to obtain this document without having to travel.
