Braun Strowman Blasts WWE Over “Nepotism” After Triple H Mix-Up With Karrion Kross Chants

Braun Strowman is making it known he’s not happy with WWE — and he isn’t holding back.

The former WWE Superstar took to social media after Karrion Kross pointed out a moment from the SummerSlam 2025 post-show, where Triple H appeared to misinterpret crowd chants. While Triple H was discussing Brock Lesnar’s return, fans in the arena could be heard chanting “We want Kross.” Triple H acknowledged the crowd — but not quite how fans expected.

“You want Brock? You got him,” Triple H said on the live broadcast, seemingly ignoring that the crowd was calling for Kross instead of Lesnar. That’s when Kross fired back on social media, making it clear he heard the crowd — and what was really going on.

“Unreal. They write the scripts…But the fans write the truth. Thank you, Tick tock.”

The moment didn’t sit well with Strowman either. The former Universal Champion, who was released by WWE earlier this year, reposted Kross’s reaction and vented his frustration.

“You know they don’t care about the fans!!!!! They care about nepotism ass kisser’s and there buddies!!!!”

Strowman, who was re-hired in 2022 during Triple H’s creative regime, hasn’t minced words about how he feels now that he’s on the outside. Despite being released, Strowman still has a project under the WWE banner — his upcoming show Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman is set to premiere on the USA Network this fall, produced by WWE Studios.

Whether or not this public outburst affects that relationship remains to be seen, but one thing’s clear: Strowman doesn’t feel WWE is listening to its audience — or respecting the talent they actually want to see.

Do you think Braun Strowman crossed the line, or is he saying what other wrestlers are too afraid to admit? Sound off in the comments.
