As always, I will be full of praise when and where it is due and right now, Chelsea are pulling off some incredible outgoing deals and deserve all the praise in the world for that.
We’ve seen a lot of players coming in through the door in the last few years, and they wont all make it here. It’s pretty clear that Chelsea have signed some players who are raw and may not make it here, and this has drawn criticism. But what has happened here is that even if these players don’t make it at Chelsea or turn out to be not good enough, then they are not losing any money on them and are mostly in fact spinning a profit on them. I always say, Chelsea is a business and businesses need to make profit to bring success, we have to always remember this. Even if players are loaned out we get a loan fee and often the wages paid for by the loaning club.
So I take my hat off to those who have been involved in sorting these outgoing deals so far this window.
I’m going off a post on X by CFCPys this week……

These are some incredible deals. How we managed to get £45m from Burnley for Lesley Ugochukwu and Armando Broja is really impressive.
And we’ve always got Arsenal of course if we end up really struggling to move some players on!
We still have a few more sales to get done and some of these will be the tougher ones such as Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, and Axel Disasi. So let’s see if we can keep the good sales going!
Then hopefully, a few more new arrivals will be confirmed too.
