🌙✨ My Journey with Sleep Apnea: CPAP Resistance and Finding Substantial Wins ✨🌙

Being CPAP-resistant with sleep apnea has meant taking an alternative path to manage my condition. Moving back to a high-altitude state only intensified my symptoms — my usually low blood pressure spiked to dangerously high levels. Desperate for relief, I’ve tried a variety of strategies, and while this journey isn’t over, I’m experiencing substantial improvements. In this video 🎥, I’m going to talk through these issues, what I’ve learned, and the steps I’ve taken to bring down my oxygen-deprived hours each night 🌌.

I even attempted to get a mouthpiece 😬 as part of my approach, but the dentist advised that I wasn’t a candidate. Still, the next step on my list is to find a different mouthpiece option to add to this formula. Here’s what’s working so far 🌟:

What I’m Doing for My Sleep Apnea Management:
1. Increased Fluid Intake 💧 – Staying well-hydrated to support my system at high altitude.
2. Chiropractic Pillow 🛏️ – I use a pillow with a big and little side, placing the big side under my neck for added support.
3. Rolled Baby Down Pillow 💤 – This goes under the curve of my neck, essential due to old neck injuries.
4. Sleeping Position 🌙 – I focus on sleeping on my left side rather than my right. Since I’ve had open-heart surgery ❤️ and strokes, sleeping on my left is easier on my heart.
5. Blood Pressure Monitoring 📉 – Using a cuff to keep track of my pressure, ensuring it’s back in safe range.
6. Stuffed Animal Support 🧸 – I place a small stuffed animal behind my back to prevent rolling onto my back during sleep.
7. Aromatherapy Diffuser 🌿 – I use organic eucalyptus and lemongrass essential oils each night.
8. Hydration and Melatonin 🍶💤 – I stay hydrated and take melatonin to support sleep quality.
9. Magnesium Foot Cream 🌱🦶 – I’m about to start using a homemade magnesium foot cream to promote relaxation.
10. Sleepon Ring 💍 – When it works, this ring tracks oxygen levels, but I’m still troubleshooting with the company for consistent functionality.
11. Next Step: Mouthpiece 😬 – Though I wasn’t initially a candidate, I’m exploring other mouthpiece options to add to this formula.

These changes have genuinely improved the number of oxygen-deprived hours I experience each night 🌌. This isn’t an easy road, but I’m finding ways that work for me and make a real difference 💪💤.
