AnJie Broad has appointed Andy See as an international partner in its Shenzhen office to enhance its service capabilities in cross-border compliance, sanctions and export control.

See brings 31 years of legal experience to the PRC firm and has spent nearly two decades working in multinational corporations, managing in-house counsel.

He was the legal department head of Nortel Networks (China), a Canadian telecommunications equipment maker, where he oversaw compliance and regulatory matters.

See was also the former managing director for APAC geographic legal services and legal director for Greater China at consulting firm Accenture, where he provided advice on deals involving joint ventures, digital economy and artificial intelligence and M&A.

In recent years, he stepped away from in-house roles and has worked in a mediation centre, a PRC law firm and a legal research centre. Notably, See was Sundial Law Firm’s compliance and regulatory committee chairman.

AnJie Broad has continuously expanded its Shenzhen branch. Earlier this month, the firm announced the addition of two partners specialising in corporate compliance and dispute resolution.
