Manish Chandra cofounded fashion resale marketplace Poshmark in 2011, took it public, and sold it to Naver in 2023. Chandra is now transitioning from his role as Poshmark CEO into a “strategic role” on the company’s Board of Directors.

In May, Poshmark announced its listings would begin appearing on Facebook Marketplace, and it rolled out an improved personalized feed. And according to a seller on Reddit, the company is testing a new search engine. In a discussion on the Poshmark subreddit about a survey Poshmark is conducting, the seller wrote on Monday (August 11):

“I’m in the good search beta because my searches have never been this good. Posh is better than Google for me right now. And that nuts. I never get in the beta test group so I’m happy I’m in it. I hope they roll it out soon because it’s fantastic. I still see promoted listings but they’re relevant to the search.”

Namsun Kim, who currently serves as Poshmark’s Executive Chairman, will officially take over as Chief Executive Officer on October 1, 2025. Kim said he was committed to building upon Chandra’s legacy “to continue innovating, delivering exceptional value to the Poshmark community, and achieving new heights.”

Poshmark is holding its annual PoshFest gathering on September 11-12 in San Jose, California – likely a final sendoff for Chandra in his role as CEO.
