Whether you like it or not, all Halloween costumes fall into three major categories: #1. Yes, I bought it 10 years ago, and I don’t care for trends; #2. No, this costume isn’t too revealing; #3. Yes, I put too much care into my Halloween costume, no, I don’t think I’m hyperfocused. But, not many people are aware of the fact that there is a fourth, secret category called “I’m one with my Halloween costume.”
For some people (especially for those of us who waited impatiently for the last 12 months), a Halloween costume is a second skin, and October 31st is the only day when they can feel like themselves. A fairy costume for Halloween can range from a vibrant, magical creature of the forest to a darker, more mysterious dark fairy (maybe something from the dark movie The Watchers?).

The mermaid aesthetic is all about celebrating the beauty of the ocean, and a Halloween party is going to be your helper here.
