The Infinix Hot 60i 5G has been launched in India as a new entry-level smartphone targeting budget-conscious buyers. This device is positioned as a 5G-enabled upgrade to the model released earlier in July. Key specifications highlight its affordability, improved connectivity, and enhancements in battery capacity and processing power.

The Hot 60i 5G features a 6.75-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a fast 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 670 nits. The display houses a simple waterdrop notch containing a 5MP front camera. On the back, the phone equips a dual-camera setup, with the main sensor sporting a 50MP resolution. Details about the secondary camera have not been specified by Infinix.

Under the hood, the company has replaced the previous Helio G81 chip with the newer MediaTek Dimensity 6400, offering better performance and support for 5G networks. Users also get 4GB of RAM for multitasking and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 2TB via microSD card. The device is powered by a substantial 6,000mAh battery—an 840mAh increase over the 4G variant—although fast charging has been reduced to 18W from the former 45W. However, the phone does support 10W wired reverse charging for accessories.

The Hot 60i 5G runs XOS 15.1, an Infinix user interface based on Android 15. Other features include an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and an infrared (IR) blaster, typically used for remote control functions.

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G will be available in the Indian market starting August 21, 2025, in four color options: Shadow Blue, Sleek Black, Monsoon Green, and Plum Red. Sales will take place via physical retail outlets and the Flipkart online platform. Priced at INR 9,299 (approximately $106), the phone aims to deliver essential modern features such as 5G support, a large battery, and a smooth display experience in a cost-effective package for entry-level users.
