Honor has officially launched the MagicPad 3 globally, the high-performance tablet released weeks ago in China that was designed to compete in the premium market segment. Positioned as a larger alternative to the recently unveiled Magic V Flip 2, the MagicPad 3 combines a large display, powerful hardware, and productivity-focused features.

The device features a 13.3-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a 3.2K resolution (3200 x 2136 pixels). It supports up to 1,000 nits of brightness and comes with IMAX Enhanced certification, aiming to deliver an immersive viewing experience for both entertainment and productivity.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, making it suitable for multitasking and demanding applications. One of its standout features is its 12,450mAh battery, which supports 66W fast charging. Despite its large battery, the MagicPad 3 maintains a slim design, measuring just 5.79mm thick and weighing 595 grams.

To maintain performance during intensive use, Honor has implemented a 13-layer heat dissipation system for improved cooling efficiency. The camera setup includes a 13MP main sensor with macro capability and a 9MP front-facing camera for video calls. On the audio side, the tablet houses eight speakers with intelligent sound adjustment for a more immersive experience.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a POGO connector for accessories such as keyboards. The MagicPad 3 runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9, offering integrated AI tools. These include features to assist with writing, generating summaries, speech-to-text conversion, and Honor Share, which enables seamless file transfers across Android and iOS devices.

Free Pencil 3 and Smart Touch Keyboard included with the early bird benefits.

In terms of pricing and availability, the global version of the Honor MagicPad 3 has been released in the United Kingdom for £599 (~$803). Early buyers can claim a £100 discount voucher, effectively lowering the entry price. Additionally, Honor is bundling the Magic Pencil 3 stylus and the Smart Touch Keyboard at no extra cost, representing an added value of around £300.

We still have no official information about a release in the U.S., that said, if you are interested in this device as of now the only way of getting your hands in one unit is through importation.
