Fans tuning into the August 25th edition of WWE RAW on Netflix were hit with serious technical issues—right in the middle of one of the night’s top matches.
During the showdown between JD McDonagh and Dragon Lee, the live stream suffered multiple audio dropouts and noticeable video glitches that disrupted the viewing experience. At times, the sound completely disappeared, while the screen itself glitched during key transitions and big moves.
The performance from both Superstars had the potential to steal the show, but for many watching on Netflix, the broadcast issues turned the match into a frustrating mess. Visual skips, audio silence, and lag were reported throughout the segment.
While neither WWE nor Netflix issued a statement regarding the technical failure, fans across social media confirmed they experienced similar problems during the McDonagh vs. Lee segment. This marks a concerning hiccup for the WWE–Netflix partnership, especially with WWE programming continuing to roll out globally on the platform.
If WWE wants RAW to thrive on Netflix, these kinds of technical setbacks need to be addressed quickly. With more international shows coming up—including next week’s event in Paris—fans will be watching closely, and not just for the action in the ring.
