Technology and Performance

The Aito M8 boasts Huawei’s advanced intelligent driving system, featuring a high-precision 192-line LiDAR, a rear solid-state LiDAR, and five 4D millimeter-wave radars, enhancing its safety and autonomous driving capabilities. At its core lies the Huawei-developed DriveONE 7-in-1 electric system, optimized for high efficiency with dual power redundancy, maximum torque of 4,000 Nm, and an impressive energy efficiency rating of 92.2% under the CLTC standard.

Richard Yu, Huawei’s Executive Director and CEO of Terminal BG, highlighted the system’s design for “ultra space economy, ultra power, and ultra-efficient range” while ensuring high safety standards. Combined with the CATL battery, it guarantees the long-range version’s 705 km autonomy. The cabin comfort is also a priority, with internal noise levels kept below 60.8 dBA at 120 km/h.

Design and Dimensions

Visually, the Aito M8 keeps Huawei’s distinct style, with signature Nebula integrated lighting and a taillight that spans the rear width. The SUV’s aerodynamics are refined with a low drag coefficient of 0.255. Its dimensions are 5,190 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm. The vehicle also features 220 mm of ground clearance and a water wading depth capability of up to 700 mm for emergency situations.

Inside, the Aito M8 offers a high-tech environment equipped with three digital screens, 26 storage compartments, and a built-in mini fridge with compressor, designed for added convenience on longer journeys.
