When I decided to transform my life by quitting drinking, consistently working out, and overhauling how I ate, I kept it simple.. I cut out processed foods, bad carbs, and takeout. I didn’t count calories. I focused on protein, because I knew building muscle was key to burning fat.
My goal? At least 170 grams of protein daily. 1 gram per pound of my ideal body weight. With hard training and a simple stack of one protein shake, creatine, and collagen, I ensured I was fueling my body right.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I don’t overthink meals. I keep it simple and consistent, high-quality protein, healthy fats, and low-sugar fruits. That’s it. Cut the alcohol, ditch the junk, and you’ll be amazed at how much better you feel, and how fast your body responds.
