  • Carnival Legend will launch Carnival’s first-ever dedicated series of 14-day Hawaii cruises from Long Beach.
  • The Carnival Freedom will reposition to Norfolk, Virginia, offering the port’s most diverse cruise program, including to The Bahamas and Bermuda.
  • Carnival Pride will continue its popular year-round cruise program from the Baltimore homeport.
  • The new 2027/2028 sailings for these three ships are now available for guest reservations.

Carnival Cruise Line is expanding its 2027/2028 lineup, adding exciting new itineraries and repositioning two ships to offer more diverse vacation options. A significant highlight is the launch of Carnival’s first-ever dedicated series of 14-day Carnival Journeys Hawaii cruises from Long Beach, California, aboard the Carnival Legend. These ten sailings, available between October 2027 and March 2028, will visit multiple Hawaiian islands and include a stop in Ensenada, Mexico, significantly increasing West Coast adventure options. The Carnival Legend will also offer six- and eight-day Mexican Riviera voyages from Long Beach.

Additionally, the Carnival Freedom will be repositioned from Port Canaveral to Norfolk, Virginia, starting in May 2027 with a 15-day Southern Caribbean Carnival Journeys cruise. Once in Norfolk, the ship will offer the region’s most diverse program, including six-day sailings to The Bahamas, six-day Bermuda cruises, eight-day Eastern Caribbean voyages, and eight-day Canada/New England cruises. This strategic move brings a newer, nearly 3,000-guest ship to the Mid-Atlantic homeport.

Furthermore, Carnival Pride will continue its established year-round service from Baltimore, featuring seven-day Bahamas and Bermuda itineraries, as well as extended Carnival Journeys voyages to the Southern Caribbean. These updates reflect Carnival’s strategy to deliver unique experiences and provide guests with more opportunities to depart on fun-filled vacations closer to home.
