The OnePlus 15 is coming soon, most likely in October, and ahead of that it’s been doing the usual certification dance left and right. The latest certification for the upcoming device comes from SIRIM in Malaysia.
While not revealing any of its specs, this certification is nevertheless very useful since it confirms that the global OnePlus 15 has the model number CPH2747.
On the other hand, the Chinese version has the model number PLK110, as revealed earlier. That one was spotted on Geekbench recently with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC on board, and it managed a very good score – though not as good as the iQOO 15.
The CPH2747 itself, so the global OnePlus 15, was certified by TÜV earlier this month with support for 120W wired charging, a 20% boost over its predecessor’s capacity. While that’s a very nice gain, the OnePlus 15 is also losing something – the Hasselblad partnership. It will be replaced with the company’s own DetailMax Engine. In a similar ‘you win some, you lose some’ fashion, the OnePlus 15 has a lower-res screen than the OnePlus 13, but a higher refresh rate.
