After a string of brutal injuries, WWE NXT’s Adriana Rizzo is eyeing a comeback. In an update posted to her Instagram Stories, Rizzo finally gave fans a rough estimate on when she’ll be back in action—marking the first real timeline since her most recent injury news broke in August.

When asked in a fan Q&A, “When do u expect to be back in the ring?”, Rizzo responded: “Sometime in the spring most likely.”

This update comes weeks after the 27-year-old revealed she had torn both her ACL and meniscus, just over a year removed from a partially torn ACL and a prior Achilles tear in 2023. The injury occurred after Rizzo had spent nearly two years trying to recover and regain in-ring stability. Back on August 10, Rizzo posted on Instagram:

“Here we go again… torn ACL and meniscus. A setback, not the end. As some of you know, I’ve had a string of bad luck with injuries — I tore my Achilles in 2023, partially tore my ACL four months later, and have been working on it ever since. After a year and a half, it finally gave out on me. I’m ready to attack this and come back 100% healthy for the first time in my WWE career.”

While recovery timelines vary, a spring return would place her recovery window between 8–10 months, indicating solid progress and optimistic rehab pacing. Given how physically demanding pro wrestling is—especially for someone who’s already been through multiple rehabs—Rizzo’s update will surely give hope to fans who have followed her tough journey.

Now that Rizzo has a return in sight, attention will turn to how she rebuilds momentum in NXT after being sidelined for so long.
