Moses Itauma to headline Queensberry bill 12 days before Christmas

Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) is set to headline the Co-op LIVE in Manchester on December 13, live on DAZN.

The unbeaten heavyweight prospect from Chatham, Kent, will headline the Queensberry Promotions bill in what will be his third fight of 2025. The opponent is yet to be announced, but is expected to be a top 15 world ranked contender.

However, finding a suitable dance partner is proving difficult. According to Moses’ manager, Francis Warren, both frontrunners, Jermaine Franklin and Filip Hrgovic, have turned down offers to fight the WBO #1.

“He’s been offered that fight, Hrgovic,” Warren told talkSPORT. “There’s two ways to say you don’t want the fight: you either say you don’t want the fight or you want a trillion pounds for it.”

The 20-year-old southpaw passed his toughest test with flying colours, in August, when he dismantled Dillian Whyte within two-minutes in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His 11 knockouts have all come within rounds one and two.

Things you didn’t know about Moses Itauma

Derek Chisora is due to appear on the same bill in his 50th – and last – contest.

“Let me tell you something,” WAR Chisora said. “We are going back to Manchester, 13 December, ‘Road to 50’.”

He added, “Opponent will be announced soon. I had one, but the big boss took him and you can’t really argue when the big boss says what he wants, so it happened.”
