The wait is almost over for brand-new seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.

With exactly one week to go until One Chicago premieres on Wednesday, October 1, the cast of NBC’s three hit dramas are teasing what’s to come this fall.

In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the One Chicago “Look Ahead” video, fans get an early tease at some of the juicy story lines ahead.

On Chicago Med, the emergency room is busier than ever as doctors have to deal with patients overcoming a variety of injuries, including some bad burns from a triple trauma house fire.

“She’s gone, Dr. Lennox,” one doctor tells the emergency department chief (played by Sarah Ramos) before she responds, “Not until I say she is!”

On Chicago Fire, Firehouse 51 will welcome Sal Vasquez (played by 13 Reasons Why’s Brandon Larracuente) to the crew as he jumps into a variety of calls, such as a rolling truck on fire.

“We have some new players,” Taylor Kinney teases in the video, “which always creates a ruckus.”

Meanwhile, Chicago P.D. will welcome Eva Imani (The Night’s Arienne Mandi) to the squad. And yes, the veterans are wasting no time in doing some digging into the newbie.

Although fans can count on plenty of drama and unpredictable cases in each department, One Chicago will also see plenty of romance.

After Dr. Hannah Asher (Jessy Schram) learned she was pregnant on Chicago Med, viewers are curious to find out if the father is ex-boyfriend Dr. Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell) or colleague Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber).

Kelly Severide (Kinney) is locking lips with someone special in the teaser, while two other actors are getting cozy in the bedroom.

Although the preview won’t answer every fan’s burning question, it’s clear there’s a lot to look forward to in Chicago.

Plus, viewers can prepare to lay eyes on some returning faces. Although Us previously confirmed that nurse Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) is taking a break from Chicago Med, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) will return to the NBC series for season 11.
