There is a clear winner…

The benefits of strength training are hard to beat ✅

This is by no means saying cardio and aerobic training are bad- it has its time, place and benefits☝🏽

But muscle strengthening is key for daily life: for joint health, bone health, brain health, metabolic rate, disease risk and SO many things 👀

Muscle weakness can leave you susceptible to osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, chronic disease, dementia, loss of independence and more 😔

There are TONS of different ways to strengthen your muscles. Here are some examples of how I prioritize my muscle strength and work on it nearly every day ✅

This is by no means recommending each of these separate exercises. Everyone’s strength training g journey will look different based on fitness level, current strength, presence/absence of pain, mobility and more ⚠️
