What’s in PUBG Patch 35.2?

PUBG patch 35.2 contains major changes in Taego, with destructible terrains finally appearing on the map along with other items to help you dig trenches and take on the enemies with surprise. There’s also a new item called Vehicle Camo Netting, which helps you hide your vehicles from enemies and use them to obstruct vision.
Apart from the changes, players are also getting the Survivor Pass: Moghoul Rampage with deadly demon skins, Sweet and Deadly for those bee-autiful spring-seasoned cosmetics, and Hideout: weapon skins for ACE32 from the Contraband crates. Here are some of the other highlights from the update:
Mayhem breaks loose in Taego with destructible terrains

Taego just got a major shake-up as the Destructible Terrain feature makes its debut on the map, allowing players to get creative with their approach to take down enemies. Players can use a variety of weapons and items like Frag Grenades, Mortars, Panzerfausts, C4, pickaxes, vehicle explosions, and Red Zone missiles to change the environment, like the ground, to make trenches and perform ambushes on enemy players.
While Taego now joins Rondo and Sanhok in featuring destructible terrain, its explosion is limited in areas with rocky terrain on the map, and it doesn’t have a Destructible Buildings feature like Sanhok. The emergency landing plane has been completely removed to make the map in line with the other ones. The update gives fixed spawn locations for the Inflatable Boat on Taego, though the total number of spawns is still the same.
Lastly, the Destructible Terrain does not apply to ranked or custom matches in the Esports Mode.
Let your vehicles pull a Houdini in plain sight

Designed to obscure vehicles from plain sight, the Vehicle Camo Netting is set to change how players approach mobility and concealment in the game. It occupies the melee weapon inventory slot and weighs 20 units. Once equipped, players can deploy or remove the camo using their interaction key, but there are a few conditions.
They cannot be put on occupied vehicles, and vehicles with Vehicle Camo Netting deployed cannot be boarded by players. This stops players from hiding inside the vehicle to avoid gunfire or pulling other unintended strategies in the game. The deployment is interrupted by damage, movement, or collisions, and it cannot block or absorb damage because the netting is destroyed when hit by enemies, making it a bad cover from incoming gunfire.
However, it does have a few useful sides as well, like ping markers on camouflaged vehicles will show as general markers on the map, not vehicle markers. Moreover, the vehicle’s appearance blends with the map’s visual tone and makes tire positions less visible, which is great for hiding your precious getaway while looting buildings nearby. It spawns in Erangel and Miramar currently, and the item is available to use in normal matches, Arcade, and custom matches on four-wheeled vehicles only.
Get a quick fix with the Vending Machines

In addition to the Boost vending machines, players will also find the Medical vending machines in their matches in Erangel and Taego. These are different to the traditional vending machines as they provide an easy way to get Bandages, First Aid Kits, and Med Kits to heal up quickly after an ugly fight. These vending machines can be found in major buildings throughout the map, and the spawns are random.
We’ve all been in a position in our matches where we’d be low on health but have the best gear to easily win the match. Now using the meds, you should have an easier time finding health items to always stay healthy in your matches. Similar to the Boost vending machine, it can sometimes drop a bunch of healing items at once. The vending machines in Miramar will remain the same as before, and the other Boost vending machines are getting a visual lift.
Inflatable Boat, Flare Gun, C4 rework, and destructible pots changes

There are a myriad of other changes as well, such as the destructible pots being available on Erangel. It can be broken with gunfire to discover loot. Self-AEDs and Traditional Hanbok Hats will no longer spawn from these pots. C4 is getting a rework, making it deployable and not throwable like before. It takes four seconds to deploy and deal damage to enemies.
The Inflatable Boat is getting a few buffs to make it a strategic and team-friendly transport option. Its speed has been slightly increased while taking less space, from 40 to 30 units. The Flare Gun, which is used to call in high-value airdrops, has also received several usability improvements to help players make more informed decisions.
