Joesph Parker believes Fabio Wardley vs Justis Huni is a 50-50 fight

Joseph Parker looked ahead to the Fabio Wardley vs Justis Huni fight on June 7 and provided his expert prediction.

The unbeaten heavyweights clash for the vacant WBA Interim world championship at Portman Road, Ipswich.

WBO mandatory, Joseph Parker, said, “To me, this fight [Fabio Wardley vs Justis Huni] is a genuine 50-50 match up. Both guys need to execute their game plans to the best of their ability.

“For Wardley, I think a fast start is crucial – just like how he started the rematch with Frazer Clarke. He needs to set the tempo early and take away Huni’s biggest strengths – which are his speed, movement, and turn it into a gritty and physical contest.

“Here, we have a fight between a brawler vs the boxer. Justis Huni brings a lot to the table with sharp footwork, quick hands, and explosive combinations. If he sticks to the gameplan his team has crafted for him, I see him coming out on top. It’s still a 50/50 fight though. It will be an intriguing and interesting fight and I am looking forward to seeing it.

“I said before it is boxer vs brawler, but they’re both pretty good boxers who can brawl too. It just depends on who executes the plan first and who sets the tempo from the beginning.”
