Fresh off a Caribbean vacation with her son Halo, Halle Bailey filed a restraining order against his dad, DDG. TMZ first broke the news on Tuesday evening (May 13), citing the same day as the filing date. According to the outlet, Halle accused her co-parent of getting physically violent in January, leading to injuries to her tooth and arm. After a judge granted the restraining order, the photo evidence went viral. A video of DDG seemingly learning about the judge’s ruling is also circulating. Here’s a breakdown of all the details.

Details Of Restraining Order With Photo Evidence

As mentioned, TMZ reports that Halle Bailey filed for court-ordered protection from DDG on Tuesday (May 13) in Los Angeles. Her most damning accusation cites a Janaury altercation between them. She said DDG came to her home to scoop their 1-year-old son, and while there, she attempted to start a conversation about visitation. The popular streamer allegedly reacted by repeatedly telling her “Get out of my car, b*tch.” Halle claims that Halo started crying, which worried her, and she got inside the car out of concern about DDG’s pissed off state. That led to them tussling and DDG  allegedly pulling Halle Bailey’s hair. She also accused him of slamming her face into his vehicle’s steering wheel, causing her to chip her tooth.

Halle reportedly included photos of her injuries in her court filing, which show bruises on her arm and her damaged tooth. The tussle stopped after she started crying from pain. DDG then allegedly drove off with her in the car as she refused to get out, due to her continued concern for Halo. When they arrived at DDG’s home, she allegedly told some of his family members, who reassured her they’d look after Halo. Halle ultimately left his home “hysterical,” per TMZ’s citing of the court docs.

Halle Bailey Describes Incidents With DDG From March & Mother’s Day

A physical attack in front of Halo is just the tip of the iceberg in recent incidents with DDG, per the court filing. He allegedly sent her a photo of her bed in March while she was not home. His accompanying text reportedly said: “Now I know what u been on lol.” The restraining order request says Halle believed he was accusing her of having sexual relations with other people.

Four days after that, he allegedly smashed her Ring doorbell camera and got verbally abusive when Halle refused to let him take Halo. Additionally, DDG is accused of taking Halle Bailey’s phone and throwing it out of his car window while yelling “Go get it bitch.” The actress reportedly filed a police report after that and says she has the Ring doorbell footage to back her up.

You might recall that in March, the 1-year-old and his mother were sick with RSV. She revealed that their illness before DDG shared public statements about “fighting” to see their child “for months.” He followed up by dropping a song called ‘Don’t Take My Son.’

Then, there’s this past weekend. Halle Bailey shared footage online of her vacationing with sister Chloe and son Halo in St. Lucia. In public, fans ate up adorable moments from the trip. Meanwhile, DDG was privately texting Halle Bailey about social media speculating she was vacationing with singer Brent Faiyaz. She denied those internet rumors. However, Brent has not responded to a request for comment from TSR.

Screenshots show DDG allegedly texted his co-parent: “U think u hurting my feelings when u really just ruining your own image. this is a terrible look. makes u look disgusting and evil.” In another text, the streamer added: “Enjoy your vacation. Happy Mother’s Day. But just have the same energy when it’s my turn to have him. I’m on the same sh*t.”

She reportedly replied, “Not with any man here. I wouldn’t do that, I have Halo…Please let me enjoy my Mother’s Day in peace. I hope you are okay and feel better soon.”

We must also note that fans online are pointing out the “tomorrow” label in the text thread, citing concerns that this evidence, included in the order, might not be authentic.

Judge’s Ruling Says DDG Must Do THIS

According to TMZ, a judge granted Halle Bailey her restraining order request on the same day. DDG must stay at least 100 yards from his co-parent. Additionally, he is prohibited from mentioning Halle or Halo in any social media posts, including streams. Bailey was also granted permission to take Halo to Italy with her. The actress is filming a movie overseas for two months.

DDG Seemingly Learns Of Halle Bailey’s Granted Request On Adin Ross Stream

Meanwhile, DDG has yet to address the judge granting Halle Bailey’s restraining order and the terms he must follow. The stream had planned to link with another popular streamer, Adin Ross, on Tuesday night. It appears he learned about the order and the judge’s ruling during said stream. At least, that’s how both streamers carried it on video.

For context, according to the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, the court serves the opposing party with paperwork after a temporary restraining order (TRO) is granted. So, at this time, it’s unclear if DDG’s reaction means he didn’t know about the order, or didn’t know it would hit the media the same day.

Nonetheless, as DDG read the TMZ details on his phone in the background, Adin quickly defended his friend. He called the order “fake allegations.” Meanwhile, all DDG seemed to repeat was, “That can’t even be real.” See the viral moment in the stream clip below.
