Here’s how to access AI photo retouching and image editing tools with your Envato account.
Step 1
Access your Envato account, go to AI Labs in the top menu, and click ImageEdit.
Step 2
Navigate to the section where you can upload or manage your images. To edit an image with AI, look for the option to Upload Image and select the one you want to edit.

Once your image is uploaded and selected, you should see an editing panel with all the AI ImageEdit tools.
For this tutorial, we’ll be using a photo of a Chihuahua puppy with different eyes, which is also available with your Envato subscription.
How to remove a background using AI
This feature automatically removes the background from your image, leaving only the main subject.
Step 1
Click the option labeled Remove Background on the left side menu.
Step 2
AI ImageEdit will analyze your image and automatically remove the background. This may take a few seconds.
Step 3
This feature offers options to refine the selection. Select the one that fits your needs, click Keep, and Download your image.
How to upscale an image using AI
This feature increases the resolution of your image without losing too much quality, making it sharper and suitable for larger prints or displays on high-resolution screens.

Choose the image you want to improve its resolution and click Upscale.

Choose how much you want to increase the resolution (2x, 4x), and then click Upscale.

Download the image with the replaced object.
How to erase and remove objects using AI
This feature allows you to remove objects or imperfections from your image, and the AI fills the space based on the surrounding environment.
Step 1
Open the image you want to clean up and select the Erase tool.
Step 2
Choose a brush size appropriate for the object you want to remove.
Step 3
Click and drag the brush over the area you want to erase. Make sure to completely cover the object.
Step 4
In the provided text field, clearly describe what you want the AI to remove. In this case, I wanted to erase the red ribbon.
Step 5
The AI will analyze the marked area and fill it with coherent content from the surroundings, and will create one or more options based on your description.

Choose the option that you’re satisfied with, click Keep, and Download the cleaned image.
How to generate similar variations from an image
This feature allows you to select an object or area of your image and ask the AI to generate similar variations in style, shape, or color.
Step 1
Open the image with the object you’re interested in and select the Generate Similar tool.
Step 2
In the provided text field, clearly describe what you want the AI to generate. In this case, I wanted to generate another Chihuahua puppy.
Step 3
AI ImageEdit will create one or more variations based on your description.

Choose the option that you’re satisfied with, click Keep, and Download the new image.
How to crop images using AI
