1. Method 1: How to enlarge an image without losing quality using Envato’s ImageEdit
AI-powered tools like Envato’s ImageEdit make it incredibly easy for anyone who wants quick, beautiful results, without getting into the technicalities. You can remove backgrounds, move things around in your picture, and upscale small images to achieve bigger and sharper results. It’s super easy to use and designed to be beginner-friendly. The best part is you can use it for no extra cost—it’s included with your existing Envato subscription.
Step 1
To access Envato ImageEdit, visit Envato Labs. You can also find it while viewing photos on Envato, where you may notice an Edit with AI button under each image; it will direct you to ImageEdit.

Step 2
To enlarge a photo without losing quality, start by uploading your desired image. You can do this by clicking Upload Image or by simply dragging and dropping your image into the workspace. ImageEdit supports most common formats, including JPG, PNG, and TIFF.
You will see the image dimensions displayed at the top; for example, in this case it reads 1080 x 729 px.

Step 3
After uploading your image to ImageEdit, you’ll see the editing tools on the left panel. This will help you resize images without pixelation. Click the Upscale setting.
ImageEdit will give you a choice of how much you want to enlarge your image. You will see options like making it twice as big (2x) or four times as big (4x).
The 2x or 4x options might be unavailable if the image is already large. Choose the available upscale option and click Upscale.

Step 4
After you select the Upscale value, ImageEdit’s AI will jump into action and enlarge the image without losing quality. It will automatically analyze, sharpen, and then resize the image for you. Once the process is complete, you’ll receive a preview of the upscaled image.
You will also notice the upscaled image is now twice the size: 4320 x 2916 px. Take a moment to check that everything looks crisp, clean, and natural, with no blur. If you’re happy with the result, hit Keep to save the new image.

Step 5
ImageEdit doesn’t auto-save your work, so make sure you Download it before you close the page!

2. Method 2: How to enlarge an image without losing quality using Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop 2025 has also come out with exciting AI tools that make enlarging images without pixelation easier than ever—no matter how big the project is! Among these innovations is the ‘Super Resolution’ tool, available in Adobe Camera Raw, which is perfect for enlarging and sharpening low-resolution photos or tightly cropped images.
Step 1
‘Super Resolution’ is a feature you can find in Adobe Camera Raw. If you’re working with a RAW file (like those from a camera), your image will likely open in Camera Raw automatically.
Super Resolution is not available through the Camera Raw filter within Photoshop; it can only be accessed if you are working directly with a RAW file in Camera Raw.
However, if your image is in JPG or TIFF format, you will need to take an extra step. One way to do this is to open Adobe Bridge by launching Adobe Photoshop, File > Browse in Bridge. Once you find your image in Bridge, right-click on it and choose Open in Camera Raw.
If you prefer, you can set Photoshop to always open JPG and TIFF files in Camera Raw for easier access in future projects.

Step 2
To enhance your image in Camera Raw, right-click on the image and select the Enhance feature from the drop-down menu. You can preview the image size, which here is 2000 x 1333 pixels at 300 ppi.

Step 3
Once you click Enhance, the Enhance Preview panel will open, displaying a preview of the enhanced image. Clicking directly on the preview image will let you toggle between the enhanced version and the original, allowing you to compare it with and without enhancement.
Click the Super Resolution feature, and if you’re editing a RAW file, check the Raw Details option to boost image clarity even further. Next, click the Enhance button.

Step 4
AI will start to enlarge the image without losing quality by upscaling your image. It might take a little time, depending on your computer and your image size. When completed, you’ll see the upscaled image next to your original photo in Camera Raw.
You will notice that the image is now twice the size: 4000 x 2666 px at 300dpi. Super Resolution allows you to boost an image’s resolution while preserving the details.

Step 5
Once you’re happy with the results, you can right-click on the image and select Save Image. The enhanced version will be saved as a DNG file. Or you can Open Object in Photoshop or any other Adobe software. This format keeps the raw data intact, allowing for further editing while keeping the original image unchanged.

Step 6
You will notice it enlarged the image without losing quality. Once Camera Raw has finished making your image bigger without pixelation, the new enlarged image will be saved as a separate file with a DNG extension and appear alongside your original photo.
If you want to be extra careful, you can turn your image layer into a “Smart Object” before making it bigger. This helps you make changes without permanently altering the original image.

Congratulations! You’re ready to upscale!
You’re now equipped to resize images without pixelation! Both Envato ImageEdit and Adobe Photoshop (including Camera Raw) are excellent for enlarging images while maintaining quality, thanks to AI technology.
For a user-friendly option, Envato’s ImageEdit is quick and comes with an Envato subscription that includes millions of design assets. If you need precision and professional quality, Photoshop provides the control required for superior upscaling.
Choose either Envato ImageEdit or Photoshop 2025 to enlarge images without pixelation using AI-based resampling and smart upscaling. Now you know how to resize images like a pro!
