NORTHBROOK, Ill., May 23, 2025 – Seventy-nine percent of Gen Zers recognize the value of community service, and communities thrive when youth like Abrianna Morales are equipped with the right opportunities and resources. At the TIME100 Impact Dinner: Leaders Shaping the Future of Philanthropy, The Allstate Foundation named Abrianna the inaugural recipient of The Allstate Foundation Young Changemaker Award.
Abrianna is a nationally recognized advocate for survivors of sexual assault. She founded the Sexual Assault Youth Support Network, a nonprofit that empowers young survivors, and has worked tirelessly to elevate the next generation of youth leaders in victim services. This year, Abrianna was named a 2025 Rhodes Scholar, and plans to begin collegiate research in philosophy, politics and economics at the University of Oxford to strengthen her policy and advocacy work.
Abrianna has been involved with The Allstate Foundation’s youth empowerment program since 2023, attending partner convenings, contributing to the Foundation’s “Leveraging the Potential of Youth Service” research report and co-editing the “In Our Own Voices”report. She also led an Allstate Foundation youth empowerment workshop at SXSW EDU earlier this year.
“I’m thankful for this award and urge other youth to use their incredible imagination and skills to serve their communities,” said Abrianna. “Youth are always envisioning a better world, and organizations like The Allstate Foundation are uniquely positioned to give young people the tools needed to make that vision a reality.”
“As a young changemaker myself, I know the value of empowerment and investing in these ideas to create meaningful impact through youth service,” said Alex Quian, head of youth empowerment at The Allstate Foundation. “We are committed to supporting Abrianna’s and other young leaders’ journeys to inspire even more youth across the country to serve their communities.”
