Orlando welcomed 75.333 million visitors in 2024, marking a 1.8% increase over 2023, as announced by Visit Orlando, the Official Tourism Association® for the destination. This growth underscores Orlando’s continued appeal as a leading global tourist destination.

Domestic visitation saw a 1.4% rise, reaching 68.84 million visitors, partly driven by an increase in day visits and overnight non-hotel stays. International visitation recovered at a faster pace, growing by 5.9% to 6.5 million visitors. Canada remained Orlando’s top international market, setting a new record for the second consecutive year with 1.29 million visitors (a 2.7% increase).

The United Kingdom followed, showing a strong rebound and reaching 88% of pre-pandemic levels with 907,900 visitors (up 3.5%). Brazil (697,200 visitors, up 0.2%), Mexico (438,000 visitors, up 1.5%), and Colombia (343,000 visitors, up 13.6%) rounded out the top five international markets. Notably, Canada, Mexico, and Colombia surpassed their pre-pandemic visitation levels in 2024.

The visitor mix in 2024 was predominantly leisure-focused, accounting for 81% of domestic visitors, while domestic business constituted 10%, and international visitation made up 9%. The group meetings segment also showed solid year-over-year growth, increasing by 3.9% to 5.616 million visitors.

Looking ahead, Orlando is set to unveil exciting new experiences in summer 2025, including its first new theme park in 25 years which opened in May 2025, alongside other fresh attractions and major sporting events, providing new reasons for travelers to visit.
