An SDCC exclusive set that comes with all the bells and whistles
Let’s talk about the SDCC exclusive set first!
The set comes with the moving platform with lava effect and it also features the droid Anakin is initially balancing on before he jumps onto the platform!

The figures themselves are all new from the ground up. As accessories they get force push hands on ball jointed wrists (another feature Hasbro copies from SH.Figuarts), two alternative portraits, a lightsaber clash effect and on top of the regular blades also three different swoosh effects for each of the sabers.

The really interesting question here is how much resellers will ask for this time. I suppose this pretty huge set will cost quite a bit of money.
On to the regular releases!

Coming to your shelf soon!
The three new regular figures are fan channel releases, so availability should be no issue. You can pre-order them on Monday, June 16th.
Barriss uses a mix of plastic and soft goods.
The Jedi Temple Guard will be a highlight for many, he looks certainly pretty stunning with lots of detail and a multi-layered outfit.
The Ronin is a more realistic take of the figure with a more natural skintone and using pliable plastics instead of soft goods for the robe.
And then there are the Halloween figures!
Asajj as an actual witch with broom, pointed hat and a black bogling as familiar looks actually fun. I love how the caption says that the figure cannot actually fly…. who would have thought that???
The Imperial Royal Guard as a ghost with yet another bogling and a glow in the dark effect is maybe not as exciting.
The Mummy Trooper with soft good wrappings and painted stitches on his helmet looks pretty fun, but in my opinion Ventress the Witch is certainly the highlight here. The mummy comes with a zombified Porg.
What do you think of the reveals? Will you try to get the SDCC exclusive? How about those Halloween figures? And are you happy The Black Series finally has a Jedi Temple guard and gets yet another much liked Jedi with Barriss?
