Melanie Lynskey is revealing the Yellowjackets moment that had her fearing for her life during filming!
The 48-year-old actress appeared on the Thursday (June 19) episode of The Awardist podcast and revealed that one specific scene she filmed with co-star Christina Ricci had the two of them seriously terrified.

During a season 3 episode of the show, Melanie‘s character, Shauna, loses control of her van as the breaks go out. This automotive disaster causes the car to drive wildly through a park as her and her passenger, Christina‘s Misty, are helpless to stop it. According to Melanie, the terror they showed in the scene wasn’t all acting.
“I think the only thing that made us stop laughing was the fact that we were actually fearing for our lives,” Melanie said on the podcast but went on to share that the two of them have total trust in their stunt coordinator who set the entire scene up. “But the minivan, which I already don’t trust, was just tied to a long rope and then quickly pulled up a hill. We just were like, ‘This can’t be right!’”
