One of my favorite things about the PS5 console is that there are so many accessibility features made for all types of gamers. One such feature is text to speech, which esentially reads out what is on the screen, even if that particular feature isn’t available within the game itself. This feature makes it so that those who are blind or have difficulty seeing can also enjoy the same games able-bodied people are. However, there are times when you want to turn it off. So, we’re here to show you how to turn off voice on PS5

How to Turn Off Voice on PS5

In order to turn off voice reading / text to speech on your PS5 or PS5 Pro, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to the Settings of your PS5.
  2. In the Settings, locate and select the Accessibility option.
  3. Then, go to the Screen Reader selection.
  4. Here, you can toggle the Enable Screen Reader option.

Once you’ve completed the above, then you’ll no longer have to worry about using the text-to-speech option. If you are having any other issues with your PS5 console, then check out our various how-to guides on how to fix different issues and errors.
