UK: The Hoxton has opened its first Scottish property in Edinburgh, spread across 11 interconnected Georgian terraced townhouses on Grosvenor Street, in the Haymarket area.

AIME Studios, the in-house design team of parent company Ennismore, has restored the 214-room hotel.

The opening, announced earlier this year, includes a mix of Snug Single, Bunk, Cosy, Roomy, and Biggy rooms, along with the new House category – three self-contained, three-bedroom homes designed for longer stays.

150 rooms are located in the main building while the remaining 64 are in the townhouse over the road.

The hotel is home to a trattoria-style Italian restaurant, Patatino, serving an all-day menu inspired by dining on the Amalfi coast, prepared with Scottish produce.

The Hoxton Edinburgh also features a The Get Together ballroom-style events space, The Apartment meeting and events concept, and a five-seater screening room.

Earlier this year, The Hoxton Edinburgh was acquired by Cedar Capital Partners as part of a wider multi-property, €200 million European deal.
