Fat Joe has released a statement, making it clear he and his legal team will “finish” his former hype man’s lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn. The attorney is representing Terrance “T.A.” Dixon in his $20 million lawsuit accusing Fat Joe of sexual coercion and more. Joe’s statement comes on the heels of reports claiming Blackburn was arrested. Blackburn allegedly ran over a process server back in May, just one month after Joe first sued Dixon for extortion.

Fat Joe Isn’t Backing Down
On Wednesday, June 25, Joe took to the ‘gram to address the drama head-on. The ‘Lean Back’ rapper made it clear he’s not letting these accusations slide, calling them “disgusting lies” and vowing to take down Dixon’s attorney in court.
“I’ve been tested the last few months—I’ve lost my big brother, my father, my mother, and now I’m fighting against these disgusting lies,” Joe wrote. “But please know I will not break and I will NEVER back down.”
Joe didn’t hold back, shading those who’ve taken his “love and kindness for weakness.” Additionally, he called out those who “steal,” “grow jealous,” and “lie” on his name, saying they’re now coming for his reputation with wild stories and lawsuits to extort him.
“Problem with your theory, I’ve never let anyone on the streets extort me, so how would I ever let a crooked attorney and a coward ex-hype man extort me?? I’m from the Bronx!” Joe declared.
He then turned his crosshairs on Blackburn, adding, “Mr. Tyrone Blackburn, attorney at law, since you want the clout, we will finish you in court.” Joe said lawyers using their profession to extort people and destroy families with no evidence is over.
Blackburn’s Arrest Adds Fuel To The Fire
The plot thickened when news broke that cops arrested Blackburn, Dixon’s lawyer, on Wednesday, June 25, for allegedly running over a process server back in May. According to TMZ, the incident occurred when the server attempted to hand Blackburn a $3 million demand letter related to Dixon’s claims of co-writing songs for Joe.
Apparently, Blackburn wasn’t feeling it. He allegedly hopped in his car, threw it in reverse, and reportedly hit the server. Joe’s legal team, led by powerhouse attorney Joe Tacopina, says this all started when Blackburn sent a $3 million demand letter for Dixon’s supposed songwriting contributions. When Joe’s camp refused to cooperate, Blackburn upped the ante. He sent over a second demand letter. That time, he accused Joe of inappropriate behavior with minors. Tacopina claims that Blackburn’s actions constitute defamation and extortion, and they hired a process server to serve him with a complaint. Things escalated, and now Blackburn’s got legal troubles of his own.
More On The $20M Lawsuit
Dixon, who hyped up Joe’s crowds from 2005 to 2022, isn’t just coming for a check. He’s coming for Joe’s whole legacy. In a 157-page lawsuit, Dixon alleges Joe ran an “Enterprise.” He says Joe built the business on “coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation, and psychological coercion.”
Meanwhile, Dixon claims he wasn’t just a hype man but a lyricist and background vocalist on tracks like ‘Congratulations’ and ‘Ice Cream.’ However, he claims Joe and Roc Nation allegedly stiffed him on royalties and credits. But it gets darker. Additionally, he accuses Joe of forcing him into over 4,000 sexual acts under duress to “maintain his standing” in the crew, often under surveillance, with threats of being stranded abroad if he didn’t comply.
Additionally, he also claims he witnessed Joe engaging in sexual acts with minors as young as 15 and 16. Joe allegedly paid the girls in cash and clothing. Joe’s team is calling the allegations lies, labeling the lawsuit a “blatant act of retaliation” and “complete fabrications.” Tacopina says it’s a desperate move to dodge Joe’s April defamation suit against Dixon, who allegedly spread lies online about Joe flying a 16-year-old across state lines for sex.
