ABC hasn’t yet given up on the Ryan Murphy-produced show, but it will now be difficult to continue the series if the network decides to move forward with season two in the future.

Deadline says Ryan is “still considering a possible continuation,” which means fans can still hold out hope for Doctor Odyssey to return. But for now, it’s dead in the water.
