The Alma Jordan Library at the University of the West Indies-St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, presents the exhibition “Looking Across,” featuring new work by graduates of the DCFA Visual Arts degree program. Curated by Visual Arts Lecturer, Dr. Marsha Pearce, this show was organized in celebration of Trinidadian writer Earl Lovelace’s 90th birthday. Each artist has responded to one of Lovelace’s novels. Accompanying the paintings is a display of Lovelace’s various book covers. Free and open to the public, the exhibition will be on view from July 7 to 30, 2025.
