iciHaiti – Security : Prime Minister visits PNH headquarters

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé visited the headquarters of the Haitian National Police (PNH) this week, where he met with Rameau Normil, Acting Director General, to discuss the security challenges facing the country and the measures needed to ensure an effective and coordinated government response.

Aware of the importance of a dynamic public administration to support the work of institutions, the Head of Government reaffirmed the government’s commitment to modernizing and optimizing management mechanisms, particularly disbursement procedures.

The PNH shared its perspectives on the adjustments needed to increase its operational agility, particularly in budget execution. Concrete solutions were proposed to strengthen the efficiency of processes while consolidating achievements in rigorous public resource management.

In the interest of coordination and efficiency, the Prime Minister initiated a consultation process between the main institutions involved, notably the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, aimed at establishing a more fluid disbursement chain, while respecting the principles of transparency and good governance.
